YGAM Head of Quality-Assurance
(home-based, London or South East England. Working as either a part-time employee, paid up to £20 per hour or as a self-employed consultant, paid up to £200 / day)
Currently it is a busy time at YGAM and we have created this new, senior post to bring additional capacity in to the charity. The post holder is required to lead relationships with our quality-assurance partners namely; PSHE Association, ASDAN and Pearson / Edexcel to ensure we (i) maintain the quality standards YGAM has been awarded and (ii) acquire new awards/quality-assurance for additional resources which we develop as we expand our portfolio of YGAM resources and products.
Additionally, the post holder will lead the certification and quality-verification process for the teachers and other professionals whom we train and maintain oversight of the quality of provision they deliver to young people.
Finally, the post holder will lead this work with an entrepreneurial drive, seeking income or marketing opportunities for YGAM and create quality-assurance processes for YGAM which are appropriate for an organisation of our size, reach and ambition.

Education Co-ordinator
(Home based, London or South East England. Full time c£21,000pa rising to c£24,000pa (plus bonus) upon successful completion of probation)
The principle purpose of the post is to lead the recruitment of delegates for the YGAM Train the Trainer workshops from schools, non-formal sector, local authorities and other interested organisations. In addition, the post holder is required to identify opportunities and sell INSET training in schools and other learning establishments in the UK or abroad. We are seeking somebody who is highly organised, has an absolute eye for detail and enjoys administration & research. In addition, an outgoing and confident personality and the ability to talk with senior education leaders to sell the YGAM Train the Trainer programme.

YGAM Community Development Worker (Oxford, £8.45 per hour)
In a unique partnership with Ruskin College in Oxford, we have a unique position available for an exceptional student to join our team, in part-time, living wage roles as a Community Development Worker.
Working initially up to 10 hours per week, you will work with student services to develop targeted awareness campaigns within Ruskin College around the potential risks associated with gambling and gaming among your peer group.
Additionally you will create a monthly support and signposting group for your peers who may be experiencing gambling or gaming-related harm. Finally, you will work with the Community Development Manager to assist with community fundraising to sustain the project long-term. This role provides a unique opportunity for you to acquire experience within the addictions field and to manage and grow a project from within your local community.

YGAM Community Development Worker (Milton Keynes, £8.45 per hour)
In a unique partnership with Milton Keynes College and the University of Bedfordshire, YGAM has two unique positions available for exceptional students to join our team, in part-time, Living Wage roles as Community Development Workers.
Working initially up to 10 hours per week, you will build a customer base to deliver the YGAM accredited gambling-related harm, minimisation programme to local community leaders and volunteers, who support young people in in Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and surrounding areas. Your training will equip these professionals with the knowledge, skills and resources to enable them to deliver highly engaging gambling-related harm prevention workshops to young people and adults (under 25 year olds) in their care.
Additionally, working with student services, you will develop targeted awareness campaigns within Milton Keyes College and the University of Bedfordshire around the potential risks associated with gambling among your peer group. Finally, you will create a monthly support and signposting group for your peers who may be experiencing gambling-related harm. This role provides a unique opportunity for you to acquire experience within the addictions field and to manage and grow a project from within your local community.

YGAM Community Development Manager (East London, £9.75 per hour)
Given an internal promotion and in partnership with the University of East London (UEL), YGAM has a unique position available for an exceptional student to join our team, in part-time, Living Wage roles as Community Development Manager.
Working initially up to 10 hours per week, you will lead the work of YGAM at UEL and provide line management to your colleague. More specifically your role will involve building a customer base to deliver the YGAM accredited gambling-related harm, minimisation programme to local community leaders and volunteers, who support young people in the London Borough of Newham and surrounding East London Boroughs. Your training will equip these professionals with the knowledge, skills and resources to enable them to deliver highly engaging gambling-related harm prevention workshops to young people and adults (under 25 year olds) in their care.
